Job Description : Product Compliance Engineer Location: Vadodara Exp: 5+ Dept: R&D Job Description (Key Accountabilities) Job Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Compliance Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience( Max 10 years ) to ensure our electronics products meet all applicable regulatory, safety, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with design, production, and quality teams to maintain compliance throughout the product lifecycle while navigating international and regional regulations. Key Responsibilities: • Evaluate and interpret relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, FCC, CE, RoHS, REACH, etc.) for electronics products. • Develop and execute compliance plans to ensure product certifications, including EMC, safety, and environmental standards. • Liaise with certification agencies and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary approvals for products. • Conduct compliance testing and create documentation to support product safety and quality. • Stay updated on changes in global compliance requirements and implement necessary adjustments to internal processes and product designs. • Support the product development team by ensuring compliance considerations are integrated into early design stages. • Lead internal and external audits related to product compliance and certification. • Train and educate internal teams on regulatory and compliance requirements. 3. Job Specification Experience Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience in compliance engineering, preferably in the electronics industry. • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and testing procedures for electronics products. • Become familiar with tools and software used for compliance testing and reporting. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams. • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Worked with the manufacturing engineering team for electronics products. Preferred Qualifications: • Certifications in compliance-related areas (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, ISO Lead Auditor). • Experience working with international markets and global regulatory standards. • IEC 61984: This is an international standard that specifies the safety requirements and tests for connectors • Understanding these standards helps ensure that products are designed, tested, and certified to meet international quality and safety benchmarks.
