Job Description : Title / Position “Lead Electrical Engineer” Discipline Electrical Job Description 'Design experience in HV, MV, LV & ELV system design, Oil & Gas and Chemical experience preferred, Client Co-ordination, Lead team of Electrical engineers and designers, Onsite-offshore Coordination. 1. Should be able to lead multiple projects and teams. 2. Experience in green field and multiple brown field projects. 3. Experience in handling abroad projects e.g. USA, Canada, Europe, Singapore & Gulf. 4. Exposure to HT and LT system design, Switchyard design/Substation design. 5. Preparation and review of Single line diagrams and Load list. 6. Preparation and review of Electrical equipment specification & Datasheets, Design Basis and philosophies. 7. Preparation and review of Electrical layouts. 8. Preparation and review of Electrical calculations. 9. Preparation and review of Tender document and BOQ. 10. Preparation and review of ELV system design. 11. Experience in preparation / review / approval of following procurement deliverables; Material Requisition, TBE, Purchase Requisition and Vendor Drawing Review and approvals for Electrical Equipment’s. 12. Electrical equipment and bulk item cost estimation. 13. Knowledge of Hazardous area requirements, Heat Tracing System Design, Cathodic protection system, etc. 14. Knowledge of ETAP /SKM or equivalent software and can review reports for load flow, short circuit, Motor starting, relay co-ordination and arc flash analysis. 15. FAT / SAT of Electrical Equipment’s. 16. Good working knowledge of engineering on 3D platform (PDMS, E3D, SP3D, etc.). 17. Knowledge of various domains in Oil & Gas and Chemical industries 18. Knowledge in handling issues during construction at site 19. Onsite-offshore team co-ordination Key Skills Domain Skills: Oil & Gas and Chemical Primary & Secondary Skills: Electrical Engineer with 12-15 years of experience in Electrical design. At least 5 years of experience of Downstream projects in Oil and Gas Sector viz. refineries, petrochemical plants. Familiarity of relevant codes and standards for Oil and Gas Industry. Good understanding of Project lifecycle, Electrical detail engineering, timelines and milestones. Good English communication skills – verbal and written. Educational Qualification (Full Time) Bachelor of Engineering (B.E)- Electrical Total years of experience and relevant years of experience 12-15 years
