Job Description : Company : L&T Technology Service Ltd Location : Mumbai & Vadodara Job Title : Rotary Equipment Engineer 1. "Carry out detail engineering activities of Rotating equipment and packages (utilities /process plant packages, HVAC, Material handling equipment) discipline such as preparation of requisitions, Vendor offer review and technical bid evaluations, vendor drawing review etc.. 2. For experience with more than 7 years, shall be able to handle small projects independently, as lead engineer. " 3. Mechanical Engineering degree is a must. 4. Minimum 5 years experience in detail engineering consultancy is preferred. However, similar working experience in design side of OEM or mechanical / technical services department of a Refinery / Petrochemical / Fertilizer / Chemical plant may also be considered. 5. Shall be conversant with API, ASME and such codes of various rotating equipment and packages. Shall be proficient to carry out vendor discussions independently and communicate with Vendors independently. 6. Should have handled at least 1 small project (up to 1500 work hours for MEG) as lead engineer. Should be a team player. 7. Should be familiar with reading of P&I diagrams. 8.
